Die Ausschaltung der Unterschiedlichen Länge der Berichtszeiträume bei Nichtlinearer Verteilung der Ereignisse

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Beim zeitlichen Vergleich von Bewegungsmassen ist — sofern es sich um Monatsoder Vierteljahreszahlen handelt — die unterschiedliche Länge der Kalendermonate zu berücksichtigen. Damit die Ergebnisse für die einzelnen Monate unmittelbar nebeneinandergestellt werden können, ist es üblich, durch Umrechnung auf Tage oder „Normalmonate“ den Einfluß des längeren oder kürzeren Berichtszeitraums auszuschalten. Solange eine geradlinige und gleichmäßige Verteilung der Ereignisse innerhalb des Monats vorausgesetzt werden kann, wird eine Division durch die Zahl der Tage vorgenommen, wobei es sich je nach dem Fachgebiet um Kalendertage oder Arbeitstage handeln kann. Ob danach noch eine Multiplikation mit der Zahl der Tage im Durchschnitt aller Monate des Jahres erfolgt oder sogar mit der Zahl der Tage im Jahr, hängt vorwiegend von dem Berichtszeitraum der Vergleichszahlen in der Zeitreihe ab.
