Abstract

All exercises in this chapter are based on short texts dealing with empirical economics or econometric methods. Therefore, before starting to think about possible answers to the questions, you should read the texts indicated. This provides a chance to examine real examples of empirical economic research. The discussion provided on some of the questions in Chap. 6 should be taken as suggestions rather than as comprehensive and conclusive answers, since the evaluation of empirical research does not always provide a clear, simple correct answer.
