Abstract

ZusammenfassungDie technologische Entwicklung im Bereich der künstlichen Intelligenz schreitet mit hoher Geschwindigkeit voran und eröffnet laufend neue Chancen, aber auch neue Anforderungen, denen der Public Sector oft nur schwer nachkommt. Autonome Systeme und KI rücken dabei immer stärker ins Zentrum und verstärken die Erwartungen der Stakeholder. Gleichzeitig wächst der Druck durch eine neue Generation von Digital Natives, sowohl als Verwaltungskunden als auch in ihrer Rolle als Mitarbeiter, welche moderne, benutzerfreundliche und innovative Lösungen verlangen. Deshalb muss der öffentliche Sektor die digitale Transformation und insbesondere den Einsatz von KI konsequent vorantreiben, um sich zukunftsfähig aufzustellen und Bürger wie Unternehmen effizient zu unterstützen. Damit diese Transformation nachhaltig gelingt, ist auch ein tiefgreifender Kulturwandel in den Verwaltungsorganisationen notwendig. Das Kap. 9 beleuchtet zentrale Aspekte des absehbaren technologischen Fortschritts und erläutert, wie sich dieser auf unterschiedliche gesellschaftliche Bereiche auswirkt. Dabei werden sowohl Chancen als auch Herausforderungen aufgezeigt, die mit der zunehmenden Digitalisierung und dem Einsatz von KI verbunden sind.
