Abstract

ZusammenfassungDer Begriff Künstliche Intelligenz ist mittlerweile fester Bestandteil unseres gesellschaftlichen Diskurses. In nahezu allen Branchen und Berufsgruppen wird intensiv darüber diskutiert, welche Anwendungsmöglichkeiten KI bietet und wie sie sinnvoll eingesetzt werden kann. Dabei entsteht in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung häufig der Eindruck, KI sei die universelle Lösung für sämtliche digitalen Herausforderungen. Doch dieser Eindruck trügt. Tatsächlich bringt der Einsatz von KI nicht nur neue technische Anforderungen mit sich, er wirft auch emotionale und ethische Fragen auf. Was passiert beispielsweise, wenn eine KI sogenannte Halluzinationen produziert und auf dieser Grundlage falsche Entscheidungen getroffen werden. Das erste Kapitel dieses Buches widmet sich deshalb der grundlegenden Frage: Was ist Künstliche Intelligenz eigentlich und wie hat sie sich entwickelt? Darüber hinaus wird ein Überblick über den Unterschied zwischen klassischer Programmierung und KI gegeben, um ein besseres Verständnis für die Besonderheiten und Potenziale dieser Technologie zu schaffen.
