Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine köstliche Schokotorte in zwölf gleich große Teile zu schneiden, ist nicht wirklich kompliziert. Sie und ich können das. Sie dann an elf hungrige Freunde zu verteilen ebenfalls nicht. Auch man selbst bekommt so noch ein Stück von der köstlichen Kalorienbombe ab. Wunderbar. Teilen ist also gar nicht so schwer. Tja, anders sieht es dann doch im beruflichen Kontext aus. Delegieren fällt vielen Führungskräften unendlich schwer. „Lieber mache ich es selbst, dann wird es auch gut“ oder „Bis ich das jemandem erklärt habe, habe ich es schon selbst erledigt“ sind Sätze, die ich in meinen Projekten sehr häufig höre. Erfolgreiche Führungskräfte wissen allerdings: Sie müssen und dürfen sogar nicht alles selbst machen. Delegation ist kein Zeichen von Schwäche, sondern eine essenzielle Fähigkeit, um Teams zu befähigen, Effizienz zu steigern und auch selbst Zeit zu gewinnen, strategisch zu arbeiten. Wer klug delegiert, schafft Freiräume für wichtige Führungsaufgaben und entwickelt seine Teammitglieder weiter. Denken Sie künftig daran, To-dos sind Schokotortenstücke. Alle wollen sie.
