Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Eine Reise von tausend Meilen beginnt mit einem Schritt.“ (Laozi in Tao Te King. Sinnhaft übersetzt. Das Buch vom Sinn und Leben (Übers. Richard Wilhelm). Diederichs. Wörtlich: „Eine Reise von tausend Meilen beginnt unter den Füßen“). Der Einstieg in die Unternehmensnachfolge verläuft selten geradlinig und erfordert vor allem Mut. Viele Töchter wählen zunächst den Quereinstieg, sammeln externe Erfahrungen und entscheiden sich erst später bewusst zur Rückkehr. Dieses Kapitel zeigt die vielfältigen Einstiegsformen: von geplanter Übergabe über projektbezogene oder zirkuläre Wege bis hin zur Notfallübernahme. Besonders in der 2. Generation eröffnet sich mehr Gestaltungsraum für weibliche Übernahmen. Coaching und externe Begleitung schaffen innere Klarheit und helfen, Selbstzweifel, Rollenkonflikte und Erwartungen zu sortieren. Die Motive der Nachfolgerinnen reichen von Verantwortung und Sinn bis zur Lust am Gestalten. Im Zentrum steht die Suche nach dem eigenen Platz im System und der Mut, ihn aktiv auszufüllen. Ein Kapitel über Aufbruch, Orientierung und die ersten Schritte in eine selbstbestimmte Nachfolge.
