Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die technologische Entwicklung schreitet rasant voran und bringt stetig neue Möglichkeiten und Anforderungen, denen der Public Sector nachkommen muss. Autonome Systeme und künstliche Intelligenz rücken zunehmend in den Fokus, was die Erwartungen der Stakeholder steigert. Gleichzeitig wächst der Druck durch eine neue Generation von Digital Natives – sowohl als Verwaltungskunden als auch als Mitarbeiter in den Behörden –, die innovative und zeitgemäße Lösungen fordern. Der Public Sector muss die digitale Transformation entschlossen vorantreiben, um sich zu modernisieren und durch digitale Services Unternehmen sowie Bürger effizient zu unterstützen. Dazu ist ein tiefgreifender Kulturwandel innerhalb der Verwaltungsorganisationen erforderlich. Auch die Back-Offices in Unternehmen sind stark von der digitalen Transformation betroffen. Oft existieren noch veraltete File-Systeme und Fachanwendungen, die modernisiert oder ersetzt werden müssen. Die Herausforderungen sind vergleichbar: es gilt alte Strukturen aufzubrechen, innovative Technologien zu implementieren und die organisatorischen sowie kulturellen Rahmenbedingungen an die digitale Zukunft anzupassen.
