Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ausgangspunkt für die im Kapitel vorgestellte Vision ist die Beobachtung, dass der gesellschaftliche Dialog auch in Ländern mit offenem und demokratischem Selbstverständnis immer schwieriger wird. Symptome sind Spaltungstendenzen, Fragmentierung, Hass und Wut verstärkende Mechanismen in den sogenannten sozialen Medien und die Schwierigkeit, in der Politik Koalitionen zu schmieden und Kompromisse zu finden. Als Lösungsansatz wird ein Format vorgeschlagen, wie respektvolle Dialoge über soziale Barrieren und Blasen hinweg geübt und geführt werden können. Mit Hilfe von Kulturtechniken, wie sie insbesondere in Teil 3 des Buches beschrieben werden, sollen unter dem Arbeitstitel „Neo Agora“ Räume dafür angeboten werden. Die Veranstaltungsbranche kann ihr Wissen um gute Begegnungskultur und lebendige Resonanzräume, transformative Orte und professionelle Moderation in diese Initiative für mehr Gemeinsinn und Zusammenhalt in der Gesellschaft einbringen.
