Abstract

Zusammenfassung Zunächst sollte immer der Purpose, also Sinn und Zweck einer Veranstaltung geklärt werden. Dabei kann das System des Golden Circle von Simon Sinek helfen. Aus dem „Warum“ und „Wozu“ leiten sich die weiteren Ebenen ab: Teilnehmerschaft, Planungsprozess und Eventdramaturgie, Inhalte und Formate. Form follows purpose. Eine Studie belegt, dass viele Expert*innen einen Trend „Von der Meeting Industry zur Meaning Industry“ sehen. Die These lautet, dass sinnstiftende Veranstaltungen in Zukunft einen Wettbewerbsvorteil haben werden. In der Vierländerregion Bodensee haben sich die großen Veranstaltungszentren und zwei Convention Bureaus zusammengeschlossen, um gemeinsam eine innovative Tagungskultur zu entwickeln. Eigentlich Konkurrenten, betreiben sie im Verein BodenseeMeeting das micelab:bodensee als Open Source Projekt. Sie stellen Grundfragen des Menschseins wie Zugehörigkeit, Autonomie, Resonanz, Angst, Vertrauen und Sicherheitsbedürfnis und beziehen sie auf Veranstaltungen.
