Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Eventbranche ist mit einer hohen Dynamik gesellschaftlicher, wirtschaftlicher und technologischer Entwicklungen konfrontiert. Während einige Akteur*innen darauf mit Innovationen reagieren, scheint die überwiegende Mehrheit der Großveranstaltungen noch immer nach alten Rezepten und Routinen abzulaufen. Unter dem Eindruck der Corona-Pandemie und der neuen Möglichkeiten virtueller Meetings sind die Anforderungen der Gäste an Live-Events jedoch gestiegen. Unternehmen, Organisationen und Teilnehmende fordern von Präsenzveranstaltungen einen klaren Mehrwert für Lernen, Veränderung und Networking. Sie erwarten begeisternde, lebendige und nachhaltige Begegnungen. Das Bedürfnis aller Beteiligten nach sinnstiftenden Veranstaltungen ist gestiegen, nur sie werden langfristig auch wirtschaftlich erfolgreich sein, davon gehen Branchenexperten aus. Dieses Buch basiert auf dem Konzept von Viktor Frankl, dem Begründer der Logotherapie (logos = Sinn). Nach seiner Definition entsteht Sinn, wenn Fragen, die uns das Leben stellt, durch eigenes Handeln beantwortet werden.
