Abstract

Zusammenfassung Kap. 3 widmet sich der konkreten Umsetzung des Nachhaltigkeitsgedankens an Hochschulen. Im Fokus steht die schrittweise Integration von Nachhaltigkeit, um einen erfolgreichen Change-Management-Prozess zu gewährleisten. Herausforderungen, die bei diesem Prozess auftreten können, werden identifiziert und Strategien für den Umgang mit diesen aufgezeigt, darunter Aspekte wie Kommunikation, Führung und Motivation. Abschließend wird die Etablierung einer umfassenden Nachhaltigkeitskultur betrachtet. Das im Vorfeld vorgestellte ORANGE-Konzept dient dabei nicht nur als Rahmen für die Implementierung von Nachhaltigkeit an Hochschulen, sondern befähigt gleichzeitig dazu, eine lebendige Nachhaltigkeitskultur zu gestalten. Durch die ganzheitliche Betrachtung von Orientierung, Research, Allianzen, Netzwerken, Governance und Education (ORANGE) wird eine nachhaltige Entwicklung der Hochschule gefördert und ein Ort des Wandels geschaffen.
