Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Arbeitswelt hat sich in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten erheblich gewandelt. Auch die öffentliche Verwaltung bleibt von diesem Wandel nicht unberührt. Sie ist in besonderem Maße von dieser Entwicklung betroffen und befindet sich inmitten eines umfassenden Transformationsprozesses. In diesem Kapitel geben wir Ihnen einen Überblick über die Zielsetzung, den Nutzen und den Aufbau des Buches. Darüber hinaus erfahren Sie, mit welcher Perspektive sich die Autoren diesem Werk gewidmet haben. Außerdem erhalten Sie einen kurzen Überblick über die aktuellen Herausforderungen für Verwaltungsorganisationen und die Entwicklung der Arbeitswelt bis heute.
