Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel beschreiben wir die für ein professionelles Onboarding erforderlichen Maßnahmen und fokussieren dabei insbesondere auf den ersten Arbeitstag und die drei Phasen des Onboardings. Da die frühe und schnellstmögliche Team- und Unternehmensintegration von neuen Mitarbeitenden in dieser Phase von besonderer Bedeutung ist, gehen wir auf die Unterschiede der fachlichen, sozialen und werteorientierten Integration im Detail ein. Weiterhin beschreiben wir die Planung und Implementierung von sogenannten Buddykonzepten, da diese Form der sehr engen und persönlichen Betreuung aus unserer Sicht eine besondere Bedeutung im Onboarding einnimmt. Diesbezüglich liefern wir gleichzeitig auch noch eine definitorische Abgrenzung zu den Begriffen Buddy, Coach und Mentor. Hinsichtlich der New-Work-Thematik betrachten wir insbesondere die Frage der Integration und des Beziehungsaufbaus mit neuen Mitarbeitenden, die eine Remote- oder Hybrid-Work-Tätigkeit mit sich bringt. Abschließend stellen wir noch Best-Practice-Beispiele, Checklisten und Beispiele für die Messung des Onboardingerfolgs zur Verfügung.
