Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Fallstudie „Swiss WashTech“ zeigt auf, wie der Weg von einem etablierten KMU hin zu einem Technologieunternehmen gelingen kann, ohne die Identität und Kultur des Unternehmens aufzugeben. Die Swiss WaschTech hat sich von einem Hersteller mechanischer Waschmaschinen hin zu einem Produzenten hochwertiger Waschgeräte entwickelt. Daten und das Teilen von Daten in einem Ökosystem stehen dabei zunehmend im Mittelpunkt der Wertschöpfung. Die Fallstudie diskutiert daraus entstehende Chancen wie Produkt-, Service- und Geschäftsmodellinnovationen. Zudem zeigt der Beitrag verständlich auf, welche wichtigen Fragen sich ein Unternehmen auf dieser Reise stellen muss, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Veränderung der Organisationskultur und auf die Stärkung von Vertrauen im Unternehmen und im Ökosystem.
