Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ein engagiertes Team hat im Jahr 2022 in der EnBW (Energie Baden-Württemberg AG) begonnen, die IT aus Perspektive der NachhaltigkeitNachhaltigkeit genauer zu beleuchten. Es wird beschrieben, wie sich eine zunächst IT-interne Bottom-up-Initiative zu einem Team entwickelt hat, das auch über die IT hinaus Impulse gibt und neue Themen anstößt. Im Kontext eines Energiekonzerns mag die IT für Nachhaltigkeit zunächst unscheinbar erscheinen. Warum der Fokus auf Nachhaltigkeit in und durch die IT sich auch für das gesamte Unternehmen lohnt, wird anhand verschiedener Praxisbeispiele erläutert. Ergänzend wird die Entwicklung eines Initiativenteams bestehend aus Freiwilligen hin zu dem Gedanken der festen Verankerung in der Organisationsstruktur beleuchtet. Auch die Ergebnisse einer Untersuchung zum Einfluss der Nachhaltigen IT auf die Zufriedenheit und Unternehmensbindung der Mitarbeitenden werden dargestellt. In diesem Change-Projekt hat sich bewahrheitet, dass der Mensch und das Mindset im Mittelpunkt des Wandels stehen müssen.
