Abstract

Zusammenfassung In den letzten zweihundert Jahren sind Ökologie und Ökonomie immer mehr in Konflikt geraten. Anlässlich des Überschreitens planetarer Grenzen, zunehmender Regulierung und intensiveren Wettbewerbs müssen sich Unternehmen verstärkt mit ökologischer Nachhaltigkeit auseinandersetzen. Der Artikel illustriert anhand zahlreicher Beispiele, wie dies schon heute gelingt. BlueMovement von BSH, Ritter Energie von Ritter Sport stehen exemplarisch für neue Geschäftsmodelle. Lorenz Meters, Insect Respect von Dr. Reckhaus sowie die Natur in der Geschäftsleitung von Faith in Nature illustrieren Veränderungen der Organisation selbst. Gleichzeitig können viele bestehende agile Methoden mit einem nachhaltigen Zusatz versehen werden. Diese Initiativen verdeutlichen, dass nachhaltige Geschäftsmodelle sowohl ökologisch als auch ökonomisch erfolgreich sein können. Der Schlüssel liegt darin, Nachhaltigkeit als integralen Bestandteil der Unternehmensstrategie zu verstehen.
