Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Interview erläutert Prof. Sören Salomo das Konzept der Cross Innovation. Innovation wird dabei als eine neue Zweck-Mittel-Kombination definiert. Cross Innovation bezeichnet dann eine radikale oder irritierende Innovation, die bestehende Strukturen hinterfragt. Beispiele aus der Praxis zeigen, dass Cross Innovation oft durch technologische Konvergenzen entsteht, bei denen sich bisher getrennte Technologien vereinen. Unternehmen müssen sich durch vorausschauendes Technologiemanagement auf solche Konvergenzen einstellen und ihre Strategien anpassen. Prof. Salomo betont, dass Organisationen offen für große Innovationssprünge sein müssen, insbesondere wenn neue Technologien auf veränderte Bedürfnisse treffen. Dies kann zu substanziellen Veränderungen im Arbeitskontext führen, was die Gestaltung der Arbeitsumgebung und den Einsatz von Technologien wie KI einschließt.
