Abstract

Zusammenfassung Gruppen führen zur Anonymisierung; Einzelne gehen unter und passen sich der Mehrheit an, was durch psychologische Effekte und biologische Nachweise gestützt wird. Arbeitstagungen sollen Themen erarbeiten und das Individuum entwickeln, was im Widerspruch zu Großgruppen-Arbeitstagungen zu stehen scheint. Dennoch können Einzelne nachhaltig erreicht werden, wenn sie aktiv in Kleingruppen einbezogen werden. Auswendiglernen wird von Erwachsenen weniger akzeptiert; sie sollten die Möglichkeit haben, Neues selbst zu erarbeiten. Bei klassischen Großgruppen-Veranstaltungen kommen diese Aspekte oft zu kurz, da Frontalvorträge dominieren und Gruppen zu groß sind. Viele haben Arbeitstagungen erlebt, in denen sie stundenlang Senior Leadership zuhörten, ohne im Alltag etwas davon zu spüren. Ideen verpuffen schnell. Großgruppen-Arbeitstagungen können lebendig und nachhaltig gestaltet werden, wenn sie partizipativ sind, wodurch Betroffene zu Beteiligten werden und Wissen ins Langzeitgedächtnis transferiert wird.
