Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der vorliegende Beitrag zeigt am Beispiel der Städte Ulm und Karlsruhe auf, wie der Weg zur digitalen Transformation gelingt. Ausgehend von einem gemeinsamen Steuerungsrahmen, der im Artikel entfaltet wird, werden die beiden Städte verglichen. Es werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede herausgearbeitet und Hinweise auf Erfolgsfaktoren der digitalen Transformation gegeben. Dabei wird deutlich: Es gibt keinen „einen besten Weg“. Jede Stadt muss ihren eigenen Weg suchen und finden.
