Abstract

Zusammenfassung Christine Müller (*1959 in Berlin) ist Professorin für Statistik in den Ingenieurwissenschaften an der Fakultät Statistik der Technischen Universität Dortmund. Von März 2013 bis März 2019 war sie die Vorsitzende der Deutschen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Statistik (DAGStat), einem Zusammenschluss von 13 in Deutschland beheimateten wissenschaftlichen Fachgesellschaften aus dem inneren und äußeren Kreis der theoretischen und angewandten Statistik und dem Statistischen Bundesamt. Von 2011 bis 2020 war sie die Chefherausgeberin der Zeitschrift Statistical Papers. Daneben war sie Mitglied und zuweilen auch Vorsitzende des Programmkomitees zahlreicher statistischer Fachkonferenzen, zwei Jahre lang Sprecherin der DMV-Fachgruppe Stochastik und mehrere Jahre Schatzmeisterin des Deutschen Hochschullehrerinnenbundes.
