Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wie kann ich meine Schülerinnen und Schüler für Mathematik begeistern und sie für eine intensive Beschäftigung mit mathematischen Fragestellungen motivieren? Wie lassen sich mathematische Begabungen auf beständige Art und Weise fördern? Solche oder ähnliche Fragen stellen sich viele, die Unterricht vorbereiten und Talente fördern möchten. Zum einen soll eine breite Schülerzahl zur Beschäftigung mit dem Fach motiviert werden, zum anderen sollen Begabte in der Tiefe gefördert werden. Dafür sind eigene Formate nötig. In diesem Beitrag wird der Debating-Wettkampf MatBoj vorgestellt, der eine Brücke zwischen einer breiten Schülerzahl und Hochbegabten schlägt. MatBoj stellt eine nach festen Regeln ablaufende interaktive mathematische Diskussion dar.
