Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Lernspiel GANITA soll eine Abwechslung zum lehrerzentrierten und rechenlastigen Mathematikunterricht bieten. Es kann einerseits in den Unterricht und den Lernprozess eingebunden werden, da es Unterrichtsthemen aufgreift. Andererseits können alle Schülerinnen und Schüler einen tieferen Blick in mathematische Themen erhalten. Für den Lernprozess spielt die Motivation der Jugendlichen eine große Rolle, die gerade im Mathematikunterricht oft fehlt. GANITA soll die Motivation auf eine Art und Weise fördern, die die Qualität des Lernprozesses verbessert und somit insgesamt zu höherem Lernerfolg führt. In diesem Artikel wird auf unterschiedliche Motivationstheorien eingegangen und diskutiert, wie diese im Zusammenhang mit dem Lernprozess stehen. Anschließend werden das Lernspiel GANITA und seine Möglichkeiten zur Motivationsförderung vorgestellt.
