Abstract

Zusammenfassung Martin mochte schon in der Grundschulzeit gern rechnen. Vom Charakter her war er eher zurückhaltend und abwartend, auch wenn er die Lösung schon lange wusste, weil er den anderen auch eine Chance geben wollte. Seine soziale Einstellung zeichnet ihn aus. Schon in der 5. Klasse stellte ihn eine Freundin wertschätzend als zukünftigen Professor vor. Er galt als Joker, wenn es im Unterricht nicht weiterging. In der Deutschen Schülerakademie machte er erstmalig die bereichernde Erfahrung, im unteren Mittelfeld zu sein. Später wurde er in die Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes aufgenommen. Martin kommt aus einem nicht akademischen Elternhaus und hat es dennoch geschafft: Jetzt ist er Assistant Professor (Academic Career-Track) an der TU Delft (Niederlande).
