Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das „Hamburger Modell“ wurde 1981/82 interdisziplinär von Mitgliedern der Fachbereiche Psychologie, Mathematik und Erziehungswissenschaft der Universität Hamburg konzipiert und wird seit 1983 unverändert in Hamburg und seit 1984 im benachbarten Teil von Niedersachsen mit leichten ländlichen Modifikationen praktiziert. Nimmt man das nun schon über viele Jahre beobachtbare, unverändert engagierte und langfristige Mitwirken der Teilnehmenden, aber auch der Betreuenden, und deren Reife- und Entwicklungsprozesse in den beteiligten und gewollt selbstorganisierenden Systemen als Maßstab, so liefert dieses „Hamburger Modell“ eine sehr gute und vor allem eine zukunftsträchtige, da die unvermeidbare Komplexität von Realität hinreichend berücksichtigende, Antwort auf die Eingangsfrage. In diesem Artikel werden langjährige Beobachtungen, konzeptionelle Überlegungen und die daraus sich ergebenden Anstöße zur Theoriebildung über Hochbegabung im Bereich der Mathematik angerissen.
