Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Mathe-Challenge „Mathe im Advent“ will – insbesondere mit dem Klassenspiel – so viele Kinder und Jugendliche der Klassenstufen 2 bis 10 wie möglich erreichen, und zwar unabhängig von der Schulform, der Leistungsfähigkeit und der Motivation, also auch „Mathemuffel“ oder solche, die mit der Mathematik in der Schule richtige Schwierigkeiten haben. „Mathe im Advent“ versucht deshalb mit einem mathematischen Adventskalender vom 1. bis 24. Dezember allen – egal ob Jung oder Alt –, die Relevanz der Mathematik im Leben zu zeigen und den Spaß am Fach in der Lerngruppe und der Familie zu entfachen. Wie vielschichtig unser Konzept ist, wollen wir in diesem Beitrag erläutern. „Mathe im Advent“ kann damit eher als eine „Multilevel-Mathe-Challenge“ als ein Wettbewerb bezeichnet werden.
