Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir berichten über unsere Erfahrungen mit einem besonderen Schüleraustausch und zwar einem Mathe-Sprach-Schüleraustausch, der 10 Jahre lang zwischen dem Landesgymnasium für Hochbegabte (LGH) mit Internat in Schwäbisch Gmünd (Baden-Württemberg) und dem Lyzeum „Naukova Zmina“ in Kiew (Ukraine) stattgefunden hat, präsentieren die notwendigen Bedingungen für einen erfolgreichen und nachhaltigen Austausch und erzählen über den Ablauf des Austausches, die mathematischen Inhalte und Wettbewerbe sowie das Rahmenprogramm. Zunächst wurde dieser Mathe-Sprach-Austausch zwischen der deutschen und der ukrainischen Schule, der von 2010 bis 2019 erfolgreich lief, von der Corona-Pandemie im Jahr 2020 unterbrochen. Mit Russlands Angriff auf die Ukraine im Februar 2022 wurde uns jedoch klar, dass der Austausch damals endgültig endete.
