Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitale Wirtschaft ist grenzenlos und treibt notwendigerweise die Globalisierung und immer kürzere Veränderungszyklen voran. Gänzlich neue Produkte mit neuen Vertriebswegen erfordern neue Geschäftsmodelle, um dauerhaft bestehen zu können, während klassische Geschäftsmodelle verdrängt und unrentabel werden. Digitalisierung geht exponentiell vonstatten und geschieht global und grenzenlos. Lokale ökonomische Systeme ergeben in der digitalen Wirtschaft häufig keinen Sinn mehr, weil Standorte irrelevant werden. In einer sich exponentiell verändernden Welt, in einem von Dynamik geprägten Markt, ändern sich gleichzeitig die Produkte, Produktmöglichkeiten und Geschäftsmodelle und die Kompetenzen, Bedarfe und Wünsche der Kunden. Das ganze Marktgefüge wird also dynamisch und verändert sich stetig. Ohne Sensorik in diese Welt bekommt die statische Organisation diese Veränderungen nicht mit und kann demnach auch nicht darauf reagieren.
