Abstract

Zusammenfassung Im Fokus dieses Kapitels steht das Unternehmen im digitalen Zeitalter. Dabei basieren die Ausführungen auf den Grundlagen von Peter F. Drucker. In diesem Zusammenhang geht es insbesondere darum, welche Herausforderungen sich für Unternehmen durch die Digitalisierung ergeben und wie diesen begegnet werden kann. Es geht um die Frage, wie ein Unternehmen sein Geschäftsmodell an die neuen Anforderungen anpassen und das Potenzial der Digitalisierung für sich nutzen kann. Ein weiterer Aspekt ist die Rolle des Unternehmens im Hinblick auf die Gesellschaft und die Umwelt. Dabei sollen nicht nur die Herausforderungen, sondern auch die Chancen, die sich durch die Digitalisierung ergeben, beleuchtet werden. Der Manager und der Wissensarbeiter werden in den folgenden Kapiteln genauer betrachtet und ihre Rolle und Aufgaben im Unternehmen im digitalen Zeitalter erörtert.
