Abstract

Zusammenfassung Über Gestaltungen des Denkens unter Philosophen und Mathematikern soll es hier zunächst gehen – und wie Literaten sich dazu geäußert haben. Das spricht Philosophiean und Mathematik, aber auch Juristerei und weitere eher theoretischfundierte Gebiete. Mathematik und Philosophie hatten ihre eigene wechselvolle Beziehung über die Jahrhunderte, wie es Johannes Weissinger in seiner Rede 1961 durch ein Zitat von Leibniz plakativ umreißt: Ohne die Mathematik dringt man niemals auf den Grund der Philosophie. Ohne die Philosophie dringt man niemals auf den Grund der Mathematik. Ohne beide kommt man auf den Grund von gar nichts.
