Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel liegt das Hauptaugenmerk auf denjenigen Eigenschaften, die sich im Alltag, besonders aber in einer Führungsfunktion schädlich auswirken. Extreme Ausprägungen von Psychopathie oder Narzissmus sind besonders gefährlich, weshalb entsprechend gelagerte Personen möglichst keine wichtigen Funktionen einnehmen sollten. Andere Eigenschaften können ein aversives oder unangenehmes Führungsverhalten nach sich ziehen, zeigen aber weniger gravierende Konsequenzen. Wichtig ist das Erkennen problematischer Eigenschaften und die Kenntnis, welche Merkmale vordergründig Führungsstärke signalisieren und welche einen wirklich nachhaltigen Führungserfolg versprechen. Ein Fokus liegt auf der Darstellung der dafür zentralen Erkenntnisse und Praxiserfahrungen.
