Abstract

Zusammenfassung Führungspersönlichkeiten können manchmal ohne Worte mehr kommunizieren als mit ihnen. Was zählt, sind Haltung und Überzeugung. Nonverbale Signale sagen oft mehr aus, als Worte es je könnten. Leider werden nonverbale Signale allzu oft falsch eingesetzt. Sie lenken von der Botschaft ab, statt sie zu stützen. Verantwortungsträger – je höher im Rang, umso mehr – müssen nicht nur auf ihre Worte achten, sondern auch auf ihre Körpersprache, ihre Mimik und Gestik und insgesamt auf ihr Auftreten und ihre Präsenz. Ansprechbare Menschen kommen besser an, sie zeigen eine Balance zwischen Souveränität und Durchlässigkeit. Die Menschen hören nicht nur auf das, was wir sagen, sondern auch darauf, wie wir uns verhalten, wenn wir es sagen. Dieses Kapitel wird die Bedeutung dieser Faktoren hervorheben.
