Abstract

Zusammenfassung Führungskräfte sind, der Name sagt es schon, Führungsspezialisten. Wie ihre Rolle in einer bestimmten Organisation ausgestaltet ist, hängt stark davon ab, welche Aufbaustrukturen es dort gibt und was von Leitungsstellen inhaltlich erwartet wird. Ist dies unklar, bleibt Ihnen nichts anderes übrig, als es sich selbst zurechtlegen. Um Ihren Job gut machen zu können, müssen Sie ihn jedenfalls kennen. Erst dann lässt sich auch bestimmen, was Führungsleistung ist und welche Kompetenzen man dafür braucht. Zudem sollten Sie sich Gedanken um die kritischen Ressourcen Zeit, Information und Feedback machen. Die Lektüre dieses Kapitels wird Ihnen all dies verdeutlichen. Auch obere Führungskräfte – also solche, die ihrerseits Führungskräfte führen –, werden ihre besondere Rolle und deren Anforderungen präzise beschrieben finden.
