Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wer Landwirtschaft vorwiegend von idyllischen Werbebildern kennt und ihr eine prinzipiell konservative Grundhaltung unterstellt, wird überrascht sein: Die Agrarbranche ist ein extrem innovativer Wirtschaftssektor mit einer rasanten Entwicklung. Landwirtschaft 4.0 ist kein leeres Schlagwort, sondern seit Langem gelebte Realität. Viele digitale und andere intelligente Lösungen sind bereits im Einsatz oder stehen kurz vor der Markteinführung. Weltweit befassen sich Unternehmen, Start-ups und Forschungseinrichtungen mit neuen Ideen und Konzepten. Ihre Motivation ist klar: Digitalisierung und Innovation bieten dringend benötigte Antworten auf gleich mehrere Megatrends in der Landwirtschaft.
