Abstract

Zusammenfassung Auch als der Klimawandel noch nicht als eine der größten Herausforderungen der Gegenwart erkannt war, handelte das Familienunternehmen HiPP mit Stammsitz im oberbayerischen Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm bereits klimaschützend. Der Beitrag zeigt die Biolandwirtschaft als Wegbereiter der HiPP Klimastrategie sowie die verschiedenen Meilensteine in der Klimaschutzhistorie des Unternehmens. Den Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken im Unternehmen verankert hat das Gründerehepaar Georg Hipp und Anny Hipp-Metzner. Beide sahen sich als gläubige Christen der Schöpfung im besonderen Maße verpflichtet. Diese Haltung gaben sie an ihre Kinder und Enkelkinder weiter.
