Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es gibt keine gute, erfolgreiche Strategie ohne eine Preisstrategie. Der Preis ist die kürzeste und wichtigste Aussage über das Angebot – über die einfache Beschreibung der Funktion des Produktes hinaus. Der Preis sagt aus, ob das Angebot auf die Spitzennachfrage abzielt oder „guten Wert fürs Geld“ offeriert oder den einfachen, sparsamen Bedarf abdecken will. Es ist die erste und wichtigste Fragestellung – sowohl bei der Ursachenforschung für eine starke Ertragskraft als auch für eine schwache Ertragskraft –, ob die Ursache im Preisniveau liegt.
