Abstract

Zusammenfassung Zunächst wird das klassische Faktorenmodell für Zufallsvariable mit den geforderten Eigenschaften beschrieben und das Identifikationsproblem genauer untersucht. Daraus leitet sich das Rotationsproblem für äquivalente Modelle ab. Eng verbunden damit ist die Restriktion einer Kommunalitätenfestlegung, die das Rotationsprinzip einengt. Über eine weitere Restriktion wird dann die definierte Identifizierbarkeit des Faktorenmodells erreicht.Nunmehrwerden die verschiedenen Schätzansätze vorgestellt, jeweils einem bestimmten Modell mit spezieller Restriktion zugeordnet. Die Beschreibungen der Faktorrotation (visuell, analytisch) nach einer ersten Schätzung und die Schätzung der Faktorwerte runden die Ausführungen zur klassischen Faktorenanalyse ab. Dann wird das Modell für eine Anwendung auf Messgrößen in Raum und Zeit umformuliert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass fast die gesamte klassische Theorie übertragbar ist, wenn die Begriffe Erwartungswert und Kovarianz für Zufallsvariable durch Gebiets-Mittelwert und Gebiets-Kovarianz für Messgrößen in einem Gebiet ersetzt werden.
