Abstract

Zusammenfassung Für eine sachliche Bewertung von Messgrößen X(t) in Raum und Zeit in Bezug auf das betrachtete Gebiet bzw. Intervall G sind neben der Nichtüberschreitungsfunktion bzw. Dauerlinie charakterisierende Maßzahlen hilfreich. Dabei können sich die Begriffe sowohl auf die theoretische Situation als auch auf den empirischen Fall endlich vieler Daten beziehen. Beide Varianten warden parallel angegeben. Beispielsweise wurde schon der Begriff von Gebiets- und Intervall-Mittelwerten (Stundenmittelwerte, Tagesmittelwerte) verwendet, ohne ihn genauer zu definieren. Das wird nun nachgeholt und der Zusammenhang mit der Dauerlinie erläutert. Außerdem ist zu einem Mittelwert immer auch ein geeigneter Streuungsparameter (Varianz) informativ. Für zwei Messgrößen X(t), Y(t) ist ein Zusammenhangsparameter (Kovarianz) charakterisierend.
