Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Bewertung von Produkten hinsichtlich ihrer ökologischen, ökonomischen und/oder sozialen Nachhaltigkeit stellt Unternehmen, Forschende und politische Entscheidungsträger vor komplizierte und auch zunehmend komplexe Herausforderungen. Ein zentrales Problem besteht darin, dass es keine universelle Definition oder Methode gibt, um Nachhaltigkeit in allgemeingültiger und ganzheitlicher Form zu messen. Verschiedene Branchen und Interessengruppen priorisieren unterschiedliche Nachhaltigkeitsziele, was zu einer Vielzahl von mitunter schwierig zu vergleichenden oder intransparenten Bewertungsansätzen führt.
