Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Kombinatorische Spiele rund um die Charakteristiken“ beschreibt die Vielfalt aller Skalenarchitekturen, die aus Vertauschungen, Verschiebungen (Translationen), also aus dem Umordnen ihrer Stufen oder ihrer generierenden Elemente entsteht. Das Verständnis über die Anzahlen artverwandter Skalenfamilien findet seine Anwendung in der Diskussion der Systematik der wichtigsten Temperierungsmodelle und ihrer Methodik. Wir gewinnen aus diesen kombinatorischen Betrachtungen in den Abschnitten Kombinatorik der Skalen-Varianten, Kombinatorik der Stufentypen, Transponieren-Transformieren und die Stufenziffer-Charakteristik, Skalen und ihre Tonarten-Charakteristik eine wertvolle und umfassende Theorie sowohl der Skalenvielfalt als auch neue Ergebnisse über die mit dieser Vielfalt verbundenen Tonarten-Charakteristiken. Dabei dienen unsere Ergebnisse gleichzeitig auch als eine sinnvolle Anwendung der Grundformeln der elementaren Kombinatorik über Anzahlen an Permutationen und Variationen auf eine methodische und architektonisch-orientierte Gliederung der Skalen-Totalität.
