Abstract

Zusammenfassung „Historische Temperaturen – Methodik und Theorie“ beschreibt fast alle bekannten wichtigen Temperierungsfamilien. Dabei geht es uns nicht um Tabellen mit tausenden numerischen Zahlen und Daten. Sondern dieses Kapitel erläutert die Prinzipien, wie alle diese Temperierungssysteme architektonisch zu verstehen sind. In den Abschnitten die Temperierung – ein Optimierungsproblem? Henri Arnaut de Zwolle: Der Pythagoräiker, Arnold Schlick: Mitteltönigkeit mit zwei Wolfsquinten, Johannes Kepler: Astronomia trifft Musica, Andreas Werckmeister: Meister der Ausgleichung, Johann Philipp Kirnberger: Das geniale Auswahlsystem, Alexander Malcolm: Die superpartikulare Teilung, Gioseffo Zarlino: Zauberer der Siebtel-Teilung, Gottfried Silbermann: Der gespiegelte Pythagoras, Francesco Valotti: Die paritätische Quintenverteilung, Johann Georg Neidhardt: Symmetrisches Dreiquintenspiel, Bach-Kellner: Merkwürdige 7:5 - Verteilungen kommen deshalb in Konsequenz die Resultate der wichtigsten Theoreme der Kapitel 1-11 zur Anwendung. Wir gewinnen dadurch eine neue „Verstehensebene“ für den Aufbau dieser signifikanten historischen Temperierungssysteme samt deren Verallgemeinerungen. Dadurch wird das musikalische Verständnis hinsichtlich einer anwendenden Praxis gestärkt.
