Abstract

Zusammenfassung Eine gelebte Familienverfassung ist ein kraftvolles Instrument zur Stärkung des Zusammenhalts und Reduzierung des Konfliktpotenzials in Unternehmerfamilien. Umso wichtiger ist es, den Prozess – von der Auswahl des Beraters über die Dauer der Erstellung bis zu den anschließenden Kontrollmechanismen – individuell auf die eigene Familiensituation abzustimmen. So, dass eine hohe moralische Verpflichtung zur Einhaltung der Verfassung entsteht. Eine Familienverfassung kann zudem ein wichtiger Meilenstein für eine Nachfolgeplanung sein, da sie wesentliche Themen dafür regelt und Transparenz für alle potenziellen Nachfolger schafft. Das nachfolgende Fallbeispiel beschreibt die Rolle, den Prozess der Erstellung und die Wirkung einer Familienverfassung aus der individuellen Sicht einer potenziellen Nachfolgerin in ihrem Unternehmenskontext und Familienumfeld.
