Abstract

Zusammenfassung Normative Konzepte müssen in der Praxis anwendbar sein, auch das des nachhaltigen Ertragsstrebens. Es braucht Menschen – Manager, Mitarbeitende und viele weitere –, die diese Konzepte teilen, von ihnen überzeugt, vielleicht sogar begeistert sind und die sie deshalb mit aller Kraft antreiben. Und es braucht Strategien für ihre Umsetzung, Leitlinien der Anwendung. Im Fall nachhaltigen Ertragsstrebens wird die Methode der Anwendung schon mitgeliefert: Die Verantwortung für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung enthält den substanziellen Aspekt der Schaffung ökonomischer, ökologischer und gesellschaftlich-sozialer Werte und den prozeduralen Aspekt der Stakeholderbeteiligung. Alle Nachhaltigkeitskonzeptionen von UN Global Compact bis zur Gemeinwohlökonomie betonen – mehr oder weniger ausdrücklich – diesen Doppelcharakter nachhaltigen Ertragsstrebens, der auch in Sachen Unternehmensstrategie, Markenführung und Marketing die Spreu ökonomistischer vom Weizen wirklich nachhaltiger Konstrukte trennt.
