Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Zielsetzungen der Arbeit in Bildungsprozessen wird seit etwa zwanzig Jahren mit dem Kompetenzbegriff formuliert. Die Bildungspläne der Kultusministerkonferenz stellen den Kompetenzbegriff ins Zentrum der Zielbeschreibung von Bildungsprozessen, wobei der im Rahmen des Pisa-Prozesses entwickelte Kompetenzbegriff für die Bildungspläne im Fach Mathematik verwendet wird. Dabei hat sich der verwendete Kompetenzbegriff sowohl in den Bildungsplänen als auch im Pisa-Framework im Laufe der Zeit weiter entwickelt, so dass die aktuelle Sichtweise sich von den frühen Konzepten sichtbar unterscheidet. Hier wird der Kompetenzbegriff geklärt, sowie einige Konsequenzen aus dem Kompetenzkonzept für das Lernen und Lehren gezogen. Ferner wird dargestellt, welche Beziehung die Heuristischen Strategien zu den Kompetenzen haben. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die heuristischen Strategien als feineres Raster zur Beschreibung der Kompetenzen verwendet werden können.
