Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wenn Grundlagen, Prozesse und Teamarbeit in der Stabsarbeit im Fokus von Stabstrainings stehen, sind Planspiele eine geeignete Methode, die bei Verwendung fachfremder Szenarien weitere Vorteile hat. Denn um die generelle Arbeitsweise des Stabs zu erlernen, ist der Grad an Realismus in Bezug auf das Übungsszenario nicht entscheidend. Erfahrungsbasiertes Lernen mit Planspielen basiert auf Üben, Reflexion und Feedback sowie Transfer. Im Beitrag werden Vorzüge des Planspieleinsatzes mit fachfremden Szenarien für das Üben der Stabsarbeit besprochen und anhand des Planspiels „Insel in Not“ illustriert. Darin sind die Teilnehmer zunächst gefordert, sich auf einer abgelegenen Insel als Team zu strukturieren und unter Zeitdruck Entscheidungen zu treffen. In einer optionalen zweiten Phase lernen sie, Stabsprozesse zweckmäßig anzuwenden. Im Trainingsseminar können sie sich ausprobieren, ohne dass in der fiktiven Insellage realer Schaden für die Betroffenen möglich ist.
