Abstract

Zusammenfassung Felix Klein kam im Oktober 1880 in die führende deutsche Messestadt, die seit 1165 das Stadtrecht und seit 1409 eine Universität besaß. An dieser einzigen Universität des Königreichs Sachsen hatten sich zum Wintersemester 1880/81 3.326 Studenten eingeschrieben, mehr als an jeder anderen deutschen Universität.
