Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dies schrieb Klein an Sophus Lie, der wenige Monate vor ihm Professor in Christiania geworden war. Darboux erfuhr: „Es ist der alte Lehrstuhl v. Staudt’s, und es macht mir nicht wenig Vergnuegen, dessen Nachfolger im Amte sein zu duerfen, da ich seine Sachen in letzter Zeit immer wieder studirt habe.“ Dem Leipziger Adolph Mayer erklärte Klein: kam die Sache so unverhofft, er hätte sich nicht lange besonnen, die Vorlesungen früh geschlossen und eine mit seinem schottischen Freund William R.
