Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Datenanalyse spielt in unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen und Facetten in viele der am Fraunhofer ITWM bearbeiteten Problemstellungen aus der Praxis hinein. Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen Einblick zu resultierenden Datenanalysefragestellungen und der hierfür eingesetzten Verfahren. Der Fokus liegt auf dem Anwendungsbezug und der Darstellung von Methoden die sich in unserer Arbeit bewährt haben, nicht auf einem vollständigen Methodenüberblick. Es wird zunächst auf direkt die Daten betreffende Aspekte wie Datenquellen, Datenqualität und Informationsgehalt, sowie Datenintegration und Datenvorverarbeitung eingegangen. Daran anschließend stehen dann Methoden zur datenbasierten Modellierung aus dem Data Mining und Machine Learning im Fokus. Die Methoden werden aus dem Blickwinkel der statistischen Lerntheorie betrachtet und immer auch wieder in Bezug zu praktischen Fragestellungen gesetzt.
