Abstract

Zusammenfassung Es seien in der Ebene n Punkte P 1, P 2, ..., P n gegeben. Ihre Ge­samtheit wollen wir als „Punkthaufen“ bezeichnen1. Wir betrachten nun alle möglichen Entfernungen zwischen irgend zwei Punkten P i und P k des Punkthaufens. Unter diesen endlich vielen2 Distanzen muß es eine größte geben. Wir wollen sie hervorheben und die „Spannung“ des aus den n Punkten bestehenden Punkthaufens nennen.
