Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Streckenmeßpunkt dient dazu, um die vierte und letzte Grundaufgabe der Perspektive zu behandeln, nämlich zwei Fragen, die wir kurz als Streckenmessung zusammenfassen: Wie kann man aus einem fertigen Bild die wahre Länge einer Kante ablesen? Und umgekehrt: Wie ist im Bilde auf einer Geraden g, deren Fluchtpunkt G0 bekannt sei, eine Strecke von gegebener Länge einzuzeichnen? Wir legen durch g eine Ebene ϵ [oben] und drehen g in ϵ um den Spurpunkt G auf die Spur e von ϵ (oder eine Frontlinie ∥ e) und ebenso den Fluchtstrahl OG0 um G0 in der zugehörigen Fluchtebene im gleichen Drehsinn auf die Fluchtlinie e0. Dabei fällt O in einen Punkt G1 auf e0. Die in die Drehkreisbögen eingespannten Drehsehnen sind ∥ OG1, daher ist G1 ihr Fluchtpunkt. Er heißt ein Streckenmeßpunkt von g. Es gibt für g zwei Drehrichtungen und also auf e0 zwei Meßpunkte symmetrisch zu G0.
