Abstract

Zusammenfassung Um der Fliehkraft entgegenzuwirken, muß der ä ußere Schienenstrang des Bogengleises höher gelegt werden als der innere. Die erforderliche Überhöhung hängt von der Fahrgeschwindigkeit und vom Halbmesser des Bogens ab. Auf demselben Gleis verkehren aber in der Regel Schnellzüge und Güterzüge. Eine zu starke Überhöhung wirkt störend auf den Lauf der langsam fahrenden Züge, weil diese aus Mangel an Schwung auf der schiefen Ebene nach innen drängen, während es umgekehrt sein soll. Eine zu geringe Überhöhung wird von den Reisenden in den Schnellzügen unangenehm empfunden, weil die überschüssige Fliehkraft sich den Insassen mitteilt.
